Day 1 [22/08/2005]
The day before... i was damn worried i would wake up late... as usual... so i slept damn early.. cant recall what time.. should be around 9.30pm... and i switched on 3 alarms.. 2 from my phone and 1 from my alarm clock... and it actually woke me up... at 5.15am... sianz... i took my time to bathe... then i left for school with my billabong bag and my shoe bag... i reached school about 6.30am lar.. damn shocking.. so i went to my locker... change and head to the canteen for breakfast... took my time to eat.. i finished at about 7am.. then headed to the open carpark... saw my friends with giant bags.. and some with even trolley bags... i was laughing away because my bag is half the size of what they brought... they were damn shocked lar... haha... i brought sufficient to last for the camp... research on the camp and then i know what to bring, how much to bring and what not to bring... yea-r-h!!! a while later.. mr lee hock joo came in with a loud haler as usual... start organizing us to our class... then set off to punggol jetty... at punggol jetty... some started to fake ill and wanted to go home... so retarded... we saw the instructors taking pictures... then we were sitting down waiting to go to the campsite by ferry/bum-boat.... my class waited for more than a hour lar... freaking crap... when we were on the ferry... we were sleeping like logs lar... when we arrived at Outward Bound Singapore campsite 2... i was damn happy lar... then we went to the multi purpose hall to get into our groupings... i so wanted to change group when i saw my group lar... my group, "Raffles" had Elton, Jeremy, Marcus, Nathanael, Simon, Amos, Gavin Tay, Manford, Zhi Sheng, Cong Rui, Amar, Max, Christopher, Mark and me.... 16pple... during the ice breaker.. we met our instructor Samantha... she collected all our valubles and kept it.. that was the most heart-breaking for most of my group members.. their handphones... haha... after that... we had to pitch our tents and followed by cooking... in the whole group.. there was only 2 scouts.. simon and me... but sadly.. simon 'forgotten' his scouting skills... and its all up to ME... there was 1 NPCC guy... the only person who helped me educate the others with camping skills... after pitching my own tent.. i went to help other tents... as usual.. the kind gavin :D.... then when we were done.. we did not do any activities... we just went straight to cooking... sam our instructor... teached us how to cook rice(not trying to be hao-lian but i noe how to cook rice)... ok... so we ate happily as we distributed the food unevenly.. :( .... elton like took so much lar.. and mark who is like overweight... did not have a chance to eat anything except rice... poor thing... after eating.. everyone just left.... and did not bring along their used messtins... and what happens... GAVIN WASHES THEM!!! wtf... then dry already put inside the storeroom.. then sam called us to bring all the messtins and cans to her for inspection... the messtins were ok.. but the cans were the trouble.. only elton knew how to use the jack-knife... so he was opening the other side of the can and we were just staring at him... i felt so useless man... crap... after everything was done... sam dismissed us to bathe and sleep before lights out which was 11pm... after i bathe.. i was walking around.... then talk to my friends.. then i made a pact with elvin, dwight, jordon and jun sian not to shit during this 5 days...
then i headed to my tent... elton, simon and me... elton slept so easily sia.. i couldnt.. it was freaking hot... i took off my shirt and put it on several times... then dunno how i fell asleep oso...

Day 2 [23/08/2005]
after we woke up... we had to strike(take down) our tents and pack our bags for the expedition... we had breakfast... dry food... ta-ma-de... then we did some belaying practice... god it was fun seeing jeremy and cong rui trying to climb that small rock wall... haha... damn funny sia... jeremy kept on falling and cong rui did not dared to climb... haha... after that.. we went for some kayaking lesson...learnt the parts of the kayak... capsize drill and T-Rescue... all of us took double-kayak.. and my partner was simon... we kayak out for practise and had to capsize and get rescue... our rescuer was marcus and amos... we did the T-Rescue successfully... and it was time to run the tables.. simon and i the rescuers... marcus and amos the victims... halfway through the T-Rescue something unexpected happened... as i was reaching out for their paddles and water bottles... i lean over too much and our kayak capsized too... haha... it was damn funny... we were laughing like mad... luckily... mark and gavin tay came along to help us... they rescue simon and i first and then we rescue marcus and amos... as we were doing the T-Rescue and capsized drill... we didnt realise that we were drifting away from the campsite... i drifting past some "kaelongs"... then it started drizzling... so we had to head back to the campsite... cong rui and christopher did not know how to kayak and both of them were weaklings so they were going off direction and moving very slowly.. so we have to wait for them... wth!!! we waited for damn long lar.. then sam had to go back to teach them again.. so simon and i 'struggled' as we tried to paddle straight... we were moving to the right all the time.. how crappy was that... its either him or me... saying it nicely... 'we couldnt coordinate with each other'... saying it awfully 'we both suck'... i think its the first one... finally when those 2 caught up... we kayak to the shore to 'park' our kayaks.... we headed to get our bags and upload them onto a motor boat... after that... nathanael reported sick... so elton was left without a partner and he had to take the single kayak... lucky ass... so we set off with 'Marco Polo' our buddy watch to the next campsite... we kayak happily away to the next campsite... i felt that there was something weird about the water... it was damn shiny... so i put my hand into the water... god it was oil... damn sick... nvm... after that...we were all waiting to 'park' our kayaks to the campsite which was 20mins away... when simon and i arrived... we saw elton in front of us and he was not facing the same direction... when we crashed into hom... it formed a T.. when he saw us coming... he was trying his best to dodge it.. but it leaned to his right too much... and a little tap by our kayak.. he capsized... haha.. damn funny... he was laughing with me and at the same time yearning to kill me... haha... as we step foot on the beach.. god i wish i could continue kayaking.. it was damn sick lar... my feet submerged into the mud... and there were lots of sandflies and fishes on the beach that gave an awful scent... i was like tipping toe all the way to the campsite.. which was like 2mins away from the beach.... 'Raffles' were assigned to get all the bags from the motor boat to shore... and 'Marco Polo' were left on the beach to empty the water from the kayaks and store it nicely... after we finished transporting the bags.. i had to pitch our tents.... this time is harder... we had to replace the pegs with rocks because we were pitching on sand.... it was crappy sia.. then i had to change... cause i was dripping wet... i took off my wet shirt and hanged on the tent... i just wore my jacket without any shirt inside.. then i change to PE shorts... it was so shiok lar... then i powder bath my whole body.. and i mean my whole body... :D... i ate maggie mee without cooking it... too lazy... then i chit chat with Raaj, Shiva, Vincent and Keith... then Aaron came to me and asked if he could sleep in my tent because his tent was too smelly for him... me being niced SWAP with him because his former tentmates were my good friends Raaj and Shiva... so i slept there after watch duty.... Keith was oso 'kicked out' of his tent because there was no space at all... so he slept in Raaj and Shiva's tent... before we slept.. we had a briefing on the sea expedition... and each watch had to appoint a Sea Ex. leader... 'Raffles' was Elton, 'LivingStone' was Keith, 'Cheng Ho' was Joshua and 'Marco Polo' was Mark... after that... each Sea Ex. leader had to take a position in the diamond formation that we were supposed to be in... Keith was the Navigator(Head), Joshua was the Starbot(Left), Elton was the Port(Right) and Mark was the Sweeper(Back)... suddenly keith approached me and asked me if i wanted to kayak with him.. so i agreed and we had to confirm it with the instructor.... after we confirmed... we had to settle our previous partners.. dammit... simon is a pain in the ass man... make so much trouble... at first 2 pairs were involved... because of simon... 3 pairs got involved... then at last finished swapping... then we went to sleep...

Day 3 [24/08/2005]
when i woke up... dammit.. i was freezing lar... it was freaking freaking cold... my whole body was shivering... it was damn cold... trust me... i was shaking totally lar... then i struggled as i walked to elton's tent to wake them up.... after all of them woke up... we have to strike the tents again... then we changed back to the wet clothes... had breakfast... pack the bags and then upload all the bags onto the motor boat... and upload all the jerry cans... and tents... some bloody fools dunno how to pack their tents and caused us to hold up our expedition.... after that... after we CLEARED everything.... keith picked up a bag of maggie mee... then we headed to our kayaks and launched one by one.... keith and i took the head.. and we set off after we helped elton onto his kayak... we left for Outward Bound Singapore Campsite 1.... keith and i were moving at a reasonable speed but the people behind us couldnt even catch up with us.... lucky we had gideon and shaun to joke around with us... after we continued and went past a resort... the instructors on the motor boat came in front of keith and i to tell us to slow down... WHY? because of the same 2 slow coaches... cong rui and christopher... so we had to change their patners... elton's partner... amos changed with christopher.... so we tot every thing would be fine now... but when we were reaching 'frog island' our restpoint... there was a kayak which was slowing us down... guess who?.... cong rui and amos... so.... we just try our luck and continued.... after a while.. we were stopped by the instructors again... because of those 2.... so we had to change again... we felt that cong rui was the cause... so we change amos with a damn strong guy, shaun.... but they were still too slow... when we were resting at frog island... everyone sat in the water and we relieve ourself.... damn shiok.... haha... after we rest at 'frog island'... shaun gave up and went back to his old partner.... and cong rui had no partner... so elton went to partner him voluntarily... he was scolding cong rui all the way that cong rui was doing fine.. thanks to elton.... we solved 1 problem.. now the second... jun wei and marco kept on capsizing.... 3 times in a row.. so we had to wait... as we waited.... we drifted and nearly hit the 'kaelongs' so after they were ready.... we paddle faster... but we had to wait for the rest at the back... keith and i called for all to wait.. everyone waited... so keith and i turned around... when we turned.. we saw raaj and shiva capsized so keith and i headed towards them with the sweepers mark and aaron...we helped raaj and shiva... but the worst part is that.. both of them did not pay attention when they were being taught how to do the T-Rescue and worst still shiva did not know how to swim... so he panicked... keith quickly jumped into the water to do the T-Rescue with Raaj and shiva held on to my kayak... and we needed mark and aaron to stabilize our kayak... as we were helping them... the rest of the kayaks DID NOT wait for us and went ahead and we were drifting back.... so after shiva and raaj are back in their kayak...we were like miles away from the group.... so in order to catch up.. we needed the help of the motor boat to bring us forward... so the instructor told us to hold on tight... keith and i held the boat and mark's kayak... mark and aaron held raaj and shiva's kayak... and the motor boat...went... the bloody water was splashing at my face lar... then after a while... when we were nearer... the instructor stopped the motor boat and ask us to paddle by ourselves... we paddle like hell then we finally reached the group... we closed up together and keith jumped into the water to cool his body... after keith came up... it was my turn to go down... it was damn relaxing.... after we continue our journey... keith, jun yet, don and i paddle together towards the finishing point.... 4 of us were playing as we reached the finishing point.... when we were reaching.... don and jun yet's kayak was like coming towards keith and mine... so i used my paddle and pushed them away... and i pushed too hard... and they capsized... haha... so after we did T-Rescue... we paddle back to the group because we drifted away.. after that... Jun Yet went off his kayak to piss... haha... then when he came up... keith went off the kayak to piss... after keith came up... i went off the kayak to piss... after me... it was don... haha... then we saw a long stick which looked like a snake... so don hurrily got into his kayak... then i went down again to cool my body... then the stick was like coming nearer to me so i rushed up the kayak and nearly caused both kayak to capsize... then keith face turned black... haha... after that... we parked our kayak on shore and dammit... i saw alot of barnacles which gave me goosebumps until now... yuck... then we transported all the bags up to shore and hike to the campsite which was about 15mins away.... we left our bags on the grass patch and went for dinner... dammit man... we like entered the residential part of OBS.. there were food cooked ready for us to take... omg... we were all drooling... then simon went to the toilet... and sam came along and told us that there was a rule in the canteen that says that they can only served us when the whole watch was here... and simon was in the toilet... we were damn pissed... then he came in... we all stared at him... and guess what he said... "WHAT!!! i got stomachache right" what kind of attitude is that sia... then we went to collect our group... the good part... we get any amount of rice we want... i took alot sia... then got very little side dishes... and a bloody blend soup.... but it was good enough.. i gobble every single grain of rice down my throat... i eat alot for my size.. haha... then after we were done.. we had supper 15mins later.... bread and cake... i eat a little.. then we went to pitch our tents.... shower... then my watch, "raffles", had flag lowering.... then we headed to our tents to sleep... as usual... i slept in raaj and shiva's tent with keith... and this time.. don came along... we were talking cock until we finally slept...

Day 4 [25/08/2005]
when we woke up.... as usual... i went to elton's tent and woke him up.. then my watch 'Raffles' headed for breakfast... i forgotten what we ate... haha.. i think it was beehoon... then we went back to the tents to strike it... then sam came along to nag at us.. god.. she's really good in nagging... haha... we got so irritated that we did things faster... haha... i sort of strike elton's tent by myself.... as usual.. then we had to clear the bloody campsite... for the other watches... then sam brought us to do some high elements... some indiana jones thingi... i completed half of the boat... haha.. the rest were like snoring away.. haha.. they so missed out the fun... after indiana.. we had flying fox... and we sort of broke it...haha... after that.. we hiked back to camp 2 in 20mins... damn fast... then we wash all the equipment and then we did almost the same thing as day 1... pitch tent... cook... bathe... sleep....

Day 5 [26/08/2005]
after we woke up.... we had stock check to pay for repairs or missing items... then we had area cleaning... "raffles" cleared the biggest area... the helipad.... then we went to the kayak area to wait for instruction... then a guy came forward and said that there were things missing from the souvenir shop... then for a while later... they found it... then we waited to leave for puggol jetty... i took a bumboat which Maurissette Lee(an instructor) was in charge of... OMG!!! i love her legs... :D.... then when we arrived at punggol jetty... OMG!!! you see all the rich fathers and mothers waiting for their kids.. OMG... i took a bus to punggol mrt.. then i took mrt all the way home.. then i wash my clothes and then sleep... so kuai right... DAY 5 was BORING!!!

omg!!! today i didnt go school... cause i woke up super late... woke up at 10+ going 11 and i was woken up by my father who suddenly came home... damn shocking lar.. then my bro convinced me to leave the house to go to my grandma house for lunch then to changi airport to study.... dammit sia... changi airport is like damn cold and it is a medicine to help pple study because it is so quiet with nothing for you to do.. except going to the toilet/eating food.. or studying... crap.. i covered so many of my math chapters that i didnt understand.. freaky sia.. so now... i am going to promote changi airport:

This is going out to all those who cannot concentrate in school, at home or in libraries. Please make a point to go down to changi airport to enjoy its wonderful ambience which calm your nerves, freezes your wild thoughts and helps you study. It's a miracle, its free and its going out to all in education. But remember, please buy a drink if you go to any food outlets, it is needed.

today was packed but fun... made my i/c at ica building at around 11+ queue up to take my bloody photo.. den waited for so long... then i saw mark ang.. haha... like 20 mins later then i could take picture... then after that... went to get queue ticket.. then got myself being served 5mins later.. after that... settle everything in another 5 mins... then go beach road to make dog tag for alex chan.. after that.. waited for wanru for twenty minutes or so.. play splinter cell to kill time.. then she came.. i ate omellete rice with baked beans, cucumber and sausage... walk her to bus stop then go lavender to meet sidney... waited bout 15mins.. then boarded the train... go to bedok... then wait for raaj for bout 5mins... the whole day i was like waiting all the way lar.. basket... precious time wasted.. then took a cab to Big Splash... it was opened like we thought.. BUT THE SLIDES WERE CLOSED!!! but.. got back-up plan.. haha.. we walked to the bicycle shop.. reached 15mins later... then got our bikes.. got quite boring for a while with only me playing a fool... i flew up when i tried to bang raaj back wheel... HE BRAKE!!! then i got caught in between his bicycle stand and the back wheel.. so i flew up... after that.. i was like speeding then sidney called from the back and i pressed the back wheel brake then i was like accelerating like a snake... yea-r-h!!! then i called it drift.. so i taught sidney and raaj.. haha.. then we started to taunt every teenager we cycle past.. when we past them... we will press our back brake.. and they will stared at us.... after that.. when we were heading towards bedok jetty... raaj came up with a better drift when the whole bike turns totally.. so we learnt it and cycle to bedok jetty... then raaj and i raced.... when we reached the end.. we drift... woohoo... everyone stared at us.. then sidney nearly fall... haha... after that... we sped off back to the cycling road... then when we reached a shelter... we made a drift u-turn.... and 3 of us nearly fall haha... so after that.. every turning... big or small... we will drift... damn fun... therefore... 3 of us shall be crown the drift kings...

omg!!! OBS is like a few days away... havent pack yet... i am screwed... jialat... so many things to do... so little time... yesterday.. when i was using my com happily doing stuff for Mr Chay for some scouts inter-patrol thing, my brother called me to ask me watch fireworks @ esplanade... so i changed and ran to the MRT station, then we took a train to city hall, then walked through city link, went to esplanade, finding the place by going up and down different exits... dammit lar... they have 4 exits... then we decided to just follow the crowd... and we finally found the place with Daniel Khong posing like for some photo-taking like that... then we followed him and wanru... and we then met up with keith and xinwen... so we went looking for a place to sit.. walking...walking...walking... walked across the bridge... then we were squeezing our way through everyone... damn hell lot of pple... then there was this woman who suddenly stood on the chair and sang 'lao shu ai da mi'.. dammit.. it wasnt nice at all.. and she sang the wrong lyrics.... haha... damn funny... then got this freaky old man teaching his friends how to use a bloody camera and he was like... minus, minus... WTH is MINUS?!!! ITS zoom in or zoom out!!! basket.. what a freak... at last... we crossed the bloody bridge.. at last... then went to the merlion city place.. found a place to sit... then 3 mins later... BOOM!!!.... FIREWORKS!!! haha... and no one screamed.. wth.. no excitement.. then after 5 mins... it stopped.. then the crowd was damn shocked... we tot it ended.. but that was a assumption.... then 2 mins later... BOOM!!! again... then got nicer fireworks... got worm kind... then got the traditional one.. then got like rocket like that.. then got like explosion like that... damn nice.... see this pic... the multi coloured one...
